i just randomly came across a snap judgment segment with him in it...and I was thinking, HIS VOICE sounds familiar...; and i googled around a bit and discovered he is the AFRICAN-AMERICAN guy who did crowd warmup before the Tonight Show started every evening...he would ALWAYS tell the SAME JOKES (almost identical with a few changes)...; so he's still making the rounds post jay leno.
